At LHTS, we are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all students. To support this, we have established specific guidelines regarding the use of smartphones and social media. We ask all parents to review these rules with their children to help us foster a positive and distraction-free atmosphere at the school.
No Phone Use in Changing Rooms: Students are not permitted to use their phones in the changing rooms at any time. Phones should be kept in the studio or stored securely during class.
Social Media Restrictions in Communal Areas: Viewing social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat is prohibited in communal areas, including changing rooms, corridors, toilets, kitchen, and dance studios. This policy ensures that all students are protected from inappropriate content and distractions.
No Photography, Filming or Recording in Toilets or Changing Rooms: Photography, filming and recording are strictly prohibited in toilets and changing rooms at all times. There are no exceptions, including when a teacher is present or supervising.
Video Creation for Social Media in Other Areas: Filming or creating videos for social media is not allowed in corridors, the kitchen or dance studios unless expressly authorised by LHTS and supervised by a teacher. This permission never applies to toilets or changing rooms. This policy protects the privacy of our students, their families and our staff, and upholds the values and integrity of LHTS.
We kindly ask for your support in reinforcing these guidelines with your children and ensuring their compliance. These rules are essential to creating a respectful and safe environment for everyone at LHTS.
