From our LHTS families

Confidence that grows
beyond the studio.

“When my daughter first started at LHTS, she was a very quiet, shy and insecure little girl. Seeing how much she has changed over the years has been amazing. LHTS has helped her come out of her shell, believe in herself and become a confident, happy child who loves performing.

She has also made wonderful friendships that I hope will last a lifetime. We are so grateful for all the confidence, happiness and beautiful memories LHTS has brought into her life.”

“LHTS is Evie’s second home. She’s grown so much in confidence and as a dancer, made incredible friendships and always feels supported and understood. The teachers bring out the best in every dancer while creating a real sense of family and belonging. We couldn’t recommend LHTS enough.”

“Both of our daughters attend LHTS, and to say dance has become ‘life’ is an understatement. The school has enabled the girls to fulfil their passions and taught them to a level of dancing which will enable them to perform at a professional level later in life if they choose.

Not only have the teachers encouraged and supported this passion, but so have the phenomenal friendships they’ve made.

We wanted the girls to be physical and have a hobby to enjoy after school. We think it’s safe to say this ‘hobby’ is teaching them to grow personally in confidence and resilience, and to believe in their abilities.

The school understands each of our girls’ needs, and they love their classes.”

Mr & Mrs Read — Phoebe and Evelyn’s parents

“From the moment my daughter walked through the doors of LHTS, not knowing a single person, she was welcomed with open arms by both dancers and teachers. The dance studio has truly become her happy place.

Her technical ability has progressed beyond recognition and her confidence has soared. She loves the variety of dance styles she is able to learn and the opportunity to continually challenge herself and develop new skills.

She particularly loves performing in the annual show, which takes place in a proper theatre. She enjoys the backstage atmosphere almost as much as being on stage; it’s wonderful to see how much joy she and her fellow dancers get from performing on stage. Every year the standard of dance blows us away.

Joining the Festival Team has been another fantastic opportunity, giving her the chance to dance alongside her friends on stages across the country and create some very special memories along the way.

LHTS is much more than a dance school—it’s a place where she feels happy, supported, challenged and part of a community.”
